The Ultimate Nowsta WFM Onboarding Checklist:
Step 1 - Complete the Billing Page setup in your Nowsta Account by adding either your ACH or Card details
To give you full access to the Nowsta Admin App you will need to complete your Billing Page by adding in the details of a payment method that will be billed each month for the Nowsta Service.
You can do this by clicking on this link: Nowsta Billing or by navigating to the Billing page of app.nowsta.com after you have logged in and following the steps outlined in this overview: Nowsta Billing Page Overview
Step 2 - Uploading a Staff List and System Inputs
Let's kick things off by uploading your staff list effortlessly. Nowsta can upload and import your full staff list to the platform for you, saving you the time and hassle of having to manually key in information for each member of staff!
For Nowsta to be able to bulk upload and import your staff list for you, we require the file to meet some specific requirements. This Staff List file can be created by your company using the following guide: Importing Staff Lists Overview
Step 3 - Assigning Role Managers
Do you have other administrators on your team that need access to the Nowsta Admin platform? Learn more about Assigning Role Managers here.
Step 4 - Company Settings
Review your company settings page to make sure it aligns with your company’s preferences. There are a number of different settings that you can customize. Learn more about Customizing Your Account here.
Step 5 - Set Up Your Integrations
Learn about the current integrations we offer and how to set them up here - Integrating with Caterease or Total Party Planner
If you do not have a 3rd party integration, you can skip to the next step.
Step 6 - Set Up a Test Event
Now it’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty of Events, Shifts and Time Tracking!
Download the Nowsta Workers App (from the Google Play Store or App Store) and acquaint yourself with the Workers App FAQ so you can understand the platform from both the Admin and Worker perspective.
Learn to Create an Event, and set up some Test Events on app.nowsta.com
Request yourself to work in the Test Events by Assigning shifts and Publishing shifts
Review Time Tracking Options, our Time & Attendance Guide breaks down the different options, why you'd use them, and how they work. Take a look at it to decide which option works best for you.

Step 8: Launching Nowsta to Your Team
Once you are all set up and ready to launch Nowsta to your full team, we recommend you take several actions:
Send an introductory email to your employees and ask them to acquaint themselves with the Workers App FAQ
These steps will give employees all the information they need to log in to their Nowsta account and set up their accounts.
After completing this Onboarding Checklist you will be ready to start using the Nowsta Platform to maximize your Workforce Management and keep everything running smoothly!
