Adding Minimum Paid Hours to a Shift

Are there times you pay a worker for a set number of hours regardless of how long they work?

If so, try out our minimum paid hour feature. This is set at the position level.

Go to the Position page, select the position, and scroll down to the minimum paid hours field. From there, enter the minimum hours for that specific position.

This hour minimum will be applied to jobs with this position. Jobs under the hour minimum receive bonus pay for the difference in time at their regular pay rate.

For example, if someone works 3.5 hours at a position at $20/hour with a 5-hour minimum, they would receive $30 ($20 x 1.5 hours) in additional pay.
