What are Confirmation Requests? What is the difference in their statuses?

Modified on Wed, 07 Sep 2022 at 12:27 PM

A Confirmation Request is when you have dragged a staff member into your event shift and asked them if they’d like to confirm for that event shift. For example: “Hi, this is Nowsta. We’d like to confirm you for an event. Please Confirm or respond with No.”

In a confirmation request, staff can be in “Not Confirmed Yet”, “Requesting Confirmation”, “Declined”, or “Confirmed” status.

Not Confirmed Yet means staff have not received a confirmation message.

Requesting Confirmation indicates the staff member was asked, but has not yet responded to the Confirmation Request.

Declined indicates the staff member was asked and stated they will not confirm for the particular event.

Confirmed indicates the staff member was asked and responded Yes to the confirmation.
