You can import events into Nowsta by uploading a CSV file into your Nowsta account. This article details how to do so, and includes some considerations you should keep in mind before you begin.
Considerations:
In order to import a spreadsheet of events into Nowsta, you must first create a CSV file that conforms with Nowsta's formatting requirements. For more information on Nowsta's formatting requirements, please review the Event Import CSV Formatting Guide.
If this is your first time using the Importer, we recommend that you first test the file with one or two events before trying a larger import.
Prepare the import file
In order to import events into Nowsta, you must create a CSV file with specific column headers. Each column requires its own specific formatting in order for the file to upload correctly.
For an explainer of which columns are required and the correct formatting for the data in the column, please review the Event Import CSV Formatting Guide.
After the information has been entered into the template import file, save the file to your computer. The file must be saved as a CSV file - excel files and other file types will not import into Nowsta.
Upload your import file
Once your file has been prepared, go to the Event Import page in your Nowsta account. Select Choose File and then choose the file that you would like to upload.
Nowsta will provide an import summary, letting you know (1) how many new events will be added and (2) how many existing events will be updated.
The events will populate within Nowsta within a few seconds, provided the file is in the correct format. When you're ready, select Import to import the events.
If the file uploaded successfully, the record of the event will display a green “Completed” status next to the file name.
