You can use the Nowsta mobile app or website to input what days and times you are available to work. This information will be visible when your employer is scheduling shifts, and is a great way to keep them up to date on when you're able to work.


Though there are several ways to input availability, you will still need to reach out to your manager if you need to request time off or mark any dates as unavailable. The app does not allow workers to input unavailability. 

How To Input and Edit Availability

Inputting availability from the Mobile App:

(1) Open the Nowsta workers app. If you have not downloaded it yet, check out our guide to getting started with the Nowsta mobile app here.

(2) Select the Jobs tab

(3) Select Calendar

(4) Choose a day on the calendar and tap Set Availability to enter your available time range.

You can choose the time range and select whether you'd like the availability range to repeat in the future.

To Edit an Availability range: 

  • Select the date for which the availability is set

  • Adjust times if necessary

  • If editing times: select save in the upper righthand corner of the app

To Delete an Availability range:

  • Select the date for which the availability is set

  • Select Remove to delete the availability

  • Opt to delete from this day only or for all future repetitions

To input availability from my.nowsta.com:

  1. Log-in to my.nowsta.com

  2. Select the Availability Calendar

  3. Select a date to add your availability

  4. Input start/end times (Or choose Available All Day option)

  5. If you would like to repeat over multiple days, toggle Repeating Availability on and select the days of the week you would like to repeat your availability

  6. Select Create to finalize your availability
